3 Day Weekend filled with indoor and outdoor activities! Ice Fishing Tournament, Kid's Fishing Derby, Tiny Tot's Pond, Craft Bazaar, a Best of Curtis Basket Raffle, Mac 'N' Cheese Cook-Off, Snowman Building, Snowshoeing/Cross Country Skiing, and Fireworks!

Schedule of event's for Pure Curtis Weekend
February 13th-15th 2015

Poker Run starts on 2/13/15 at 4pm thru 2/15/15 at 1pm Drop your cards off at Chamberlin's Ole Forest Inn!
Cards are $5 and are being sold at Ten Curves Rustic Inn, Curtis... Service, The Landing Restaurant, The Store, Moose Du Nord, Kim's Tally Ho, and Lakeside Grocery & Liquor!

Craft Bazaar from 10 am to 3pm Saturday the 14th at the Curtis Community Building

2nd Annual Mac & Cheese Cook-Off will be at participating locations, on Saturday the 14th begins at 11am thru 3pm. We'll have ballots for $2 to purchase and vote for your favorite's!

Ice Fishing Tournament Saturday the 14th starting at 7am, Registration is at Mick's Bait Shop and ends at 10am.

Kid's Fishing Derby on South Manistique Lake off Watts/Stamper Park, look for the signs!

Avaliable at the Erickson Center:
Snow Sculptures, snowman building competition, Seney Wildlife Refuge movies will be available indoors, Snowshoeing/Cross Country Skiing (equipment available) and the Explore the Arts will be indoors too, great for a warm up!

Chamberlin's Ole Forest Inn will have music by
The J-Birds Friday, Saturday and Sunday Evenings.

Kim's Tally-Ho will have a DJ Friday and Saturday night, featuring
Upper Hand Brewery of Escanaba starting at 4pm Saturday the 14th with a "Beer Garden" also Bell's Brewery will be on hand with Giveaway stuff, t-shirts, sticker's etc.

There will be bonfires, and don't forget the Pure Curtis Fireworks Saturday night beginning around 7pm

Our hope for the €œ906 Festival€ is to offer Curtis, surrounding communities, and visitors to our area a fun, family-friendly event that celebrates OUR HOME, the Upper Peninsula! Our festival will include U.P. food, beer and wine, art and retail vendors and entertainment acts, fun games and activities for both kids and adults, non-profit organization booths, demonstrations, and more! The True North Quartet Chamber Music Performance

The Erickson Center for the Arts presents a chamber music concert at 7:00 PM Monday, August 6th. This program features the “True North Quartet,” a string quartet group from the Ann Arbor area. Violinists Paul Lundin, Karen Donato, and violist Joseph Deller return for their ninth year playing together for the Erickson Center. Guest musician Daniel Thomas will join this year's concert.
This is a free event and all are welcome to attend. Donations are appreciated.
